HexClad Hybrid Cookware

HexClad Hybrid Cookware

Many people this year have asked me on my social media platforms what pans I use and recommend. After 5 years of using HexClad Hybrid Cookware (HexClad), I couldn’t be happier.     Previous to Hexclad I used AllClad which is another outstanding brand, however it lacked some key properties that used to be very frustrating. HexClad solved those problems and also brought with it a new enjoyment of cooking.

HexClad is non-stick and has steel ridges and valleys. Stainless steel heats like a dream and takes a beating, but the surface sticks. Cast iron is tough but heavy. Ceramic and non-stick pans are easy to use but too delicate. HexClad’s patented design technology brings together the best of premium cookware, so you can cook without limits.  The non-stick is NOT a coating that is going to give off chemicals in your food, nor will it chip or peel. Their patented design (I’m writing this from my experience) is bar none the best in the industry in my opinion. Again, MY OPINION only and if you don’t want to take my word for it you can ask Gordon Ramsay. One day I hope to shake his hand for making such a great choice to join HexClad 😉

HexClad has one of the best lifetime warranties in the business and I don’t know anyone who has needed it yet. These are industrial level/commercial level pans, not your television or discount bargain pans and once you get them, you will know why.

I have cooked on the gas stove, in my electric and gas ovens and even cooked in my wood fire oven outside which I never saw anyone do, but it can be done. The pans will withstand up to 500F officially, so I won’t tell you what I got them up to. Let’s just say it was 500ish!

HexClad, while once known as a pan company only, has now exploded into a full kitchen accessory company from their incredible Damascus steel knives, to their new roaster and carving knife/fork set (I want that so bad!) to their Bistecca plates. The list is growing so fast I almost can’t keep up with the recent monthly releases of products.

I get a lot of messages asking me “what should I get?”. Well, HexClad has made it an easy decision with their 13 piece set because you save at least 30% when they are on sale throughout the year. Individual pieces will far exceed the cost of the 13 pieces set, so I would start with the set and then add other pots or pans if you have the need. If you can only get ONE piece, I would suggest the Hybrid Deep Sauté Pan/Chicken Fryer with Lid, 7QT. It will allow you to fry foods and cook sauces or soups and it comes with a lid, but that’s just my opinion for my cooking style.

I could write a lot more about HexClad but just look and you’ll see it all over my feed in my videos. I’m not paid any commissions nor paid for my content which allows me to stay neutral and partner with brands I am truly passionate about, and HexClad is one of them!  For more FAQ information check out the details here at https://ukulelejaybbq.com/hexclad-hybrid-cookware
