Candied Bacon Recipe

Cane & Maple Coca-Cola Candied Bacon

TOTAL TIME: 4.75 hrs

PREP TIME: 5 min

WAIT TIME: 4 hours

COOK TIME: 40 minutes


INGREDIENTS

• 12 slices of bacon (https://billesbacon.com)

• 1/2C Dr. Bill's Cane & Maple Syrup (https://drbillsyrup.com)

• Place in preheated 400ºF oven on bake

• 2 12oz Bottles of Coca-Cola


INSTRUCTIONS

• Line bacon strips in baking pan.

• Fill with Coca-Cola.

• Cover with plastic wrap.

• Place in refrigerator for 4 hours.

• Dry off bacon and dump cola.

• Place on backing rack.

• Coat both sides of bacon with syrup.

• Check after 20 minutes and every 5 minutes thereafter. Ovens vary.

• Take out baking tray and let bacon cool.

Candied Bacon

Only 3 ingredients to make an incredible piece of your Bloody Mary! If you want super sweet then get out that brown sugar and sprinkle it on about 20 minutes into the cook.
